Every catalogue a retailer has published, with its release day.
Coles, Woolworths, IGA and Foodland publish on Wednesday and their specials run for exactly seven days, finishing at close of trade the following Tuesday. ALDI drops Special Buys twice a week, Wednesday and Saturday. Bunnings, Big W, Kmart, Officeworks, Chemist Warehouse, Priceline and Dan Murphy's all start Thursday and usually run longer than a single week.
Knowing which day a store resets is most of the game. Shopping Tuesday means paying full price for things that halve overnight. The catalogue calendar lists the release day and a countdown for every major retailer.
The deepest weekly discounts sit in the supermarket half price sections, which change Wednesday morning. The half price page gathers every live supermarket and pharmacy catalogue in one view, so you can compare the same product across Coles, Woolworths, IGA and ALDI before you shop.
Retailers often publish the following week's catalogue a day or two ahead. Next week's catalogues shows those as soon as they appear, and the sales calendar has confirmed dates for Black Friday, Boxing Day, Click Frenzy and EOFY.
Supermarket catalogues are published separately for NSW, VIC, QLD, WA, SA and TAS, and metro and regional editions can carry different prices. Where a retailer publishes separate versions, the state is marked on the catalogue cover.
